1. Application:
1.1 The Points Series Guidelines applies ONLY to the 2008 Spring Creek Mud Bog Championship Series
1.2 THese guidelines do not provide an avenue for protest against the competition director the track officials decisions at the 2008 Spring Creek Mud Bog Championship Series.
2. Points Series Standings
2.1 The 2008 Spring Creek Mud Bog Championship Series shall establish and maintain points series standings for each of the following classes:
-Class I, Class II, Class III, Class IV, Umlimited D.O.T., Tractor Tires, & A.T.V.
3. Administration of Points Series
3.1 The SCOR Administration and Volunteer Committee shall be responsible for the administration of the Points Series Guideline.
3.2 The committee shall be responsible for the interpretation of any and all rules, the resolution of any dispute arising with respect to the rules, regulations and/or guidelines, the amendment of any rule, regulation, and/or guideline, the addition of any rule, regulation and/or guideline, the removal of any rule, regulation and/or guideline.
4. Request to resolve dispute
4.1 Any SCOR 2008 Mud Bog Competitor may submit a request to the competition director to resolve a dispute with respect to the points series.
4.2 When a request to resolve a dispute with respect to the points series has been submitted to the director, the director shall resolve such dispute in any amnner he/she sees fit.
5. Correction of clerical errors in the Points Series Standings
5.1 Notwithsatnding anything in this part, clerical errors including, but not limited to mathmatical errors in the calculation of the standings may be corrected by the event director or by any person assigned the task of calculating the standings.
5.2 Any Competitor alleging that a clerical error has occured may request a review by the director to determine if, infact, the error exists. The director, or any person assigned by the director will determine whether an error exists, and correct such errors if found.
6. Zero Points
6.1 A driver will receive ZERO points for a race if (a) the driver Did Not Start (DNS), Did Not Finish (DNF You may recieve a DNF if you do not stop when the track official deems forward momentum has ceased), or (c)is disqualified from the race for any reason.
7. Two Points Rule
7.1 Every driver who completes a "FULL PULL" in any class shall receive two (2) Series Points for their first "FULL PULL" of the night.
8. Points Non-Transferrable
8.1 Series points awarded to the competition vehicle in any class, on any night may not be transferred to any other class or vehicle. Points are awarded to the vehicle, not the driver.
9. Two Hundred Point Scale
9.1 Series Points will be awarded in accordance with a 200 point scale as follows:
Place/Points
1-200pts, 2-175 pts, 3-155 pts, 4-140 pts, 5-13pts, 6-120pts, 7-115 pts, 8-110 pts, 9-105 pts, 10100 pts, 11-95 pts, 12-90 pts, 13-85 pts, 14-80 pts, 15-75 pts, 16-71 pts, 17-69 pts, 18-66 pts, 19-64 pts, 20-62 pts, 21-60 pts, 22-58 pts, 23-56 pts, 24-54 pts, 25-52 pts, 26-50 pts, 27-49 pts, 28-48 pts, 29-47 pts, 30-46 pts. Alla places 31 & lower will receive 45 points.
10. Series Winner
10.1 A Series Winner shall be declared in each class for the 2008 Spring Creek Mud Bog Championship Series by determining the vehicle in each class with the highest cumulative Series Points, to be determined by totalling eache vehicle's Nightly Series Points.
10.2 In order for a vehicle to be eligible for the Points Series, the vehicle MUST race a minimum of four (4) races in a single class.
